The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, 1974 Health & Safety Act and the Management of Health & Safety regulation requires staff to receive appropriate fire training/instruction.

An employers obligation to their staff is to:
• Attain what hazards are present and what level of risk could employees be exposed (repeated periodically where appropriate).
