Remote Monitoring

We provide encrypted remote connections through a 24/7 remote monitoring service suite which not only provides an extra level of security but also enables us to centrally access and diagnose issues, avoiding unnecessary time and expense in us attending site, providing you with assurance that our team can respond immediately and effectively.

A monitored system means you can respond to security threats in real-time and potentially prevent an incident from occurring. If an intruder or other unusual activity is detected by the CCTV system, an alarm is sent to the remote monitoring station. Operators are then able to respond right away and take immediate action if necessary. They will notify the police and the key holder for the building.

Remote monitoring provides business, operators and landlords with further peace of mind that their premises are secure 24/7. Furthermore it can save businesses thousands of pounds in potential losses from theft or other criminal activity. contact our Service Team today to discuss your needs 0333 666 9995 option 3.

Here’s Jack at Kinver Community Fire Station carrying out remedial works on a sprinkler system.

Fire Sprinkler Systems

Fire sprinkler systems can significantly reduce the risk to life and mitigate the damage caused by fire.

An automatic system is designed to detect a fire and extinguish it in its early stages or hold the fire in check so that extinguishment can be carried out by other means.

It consists of a water supply which provides adequate pressure and flows into a system of pipework onto which sprinkler heads are installed.

These sprinkler heads operate at a predetermined temperature and discharge water over the affected area. Only those heads in the vicinity of the fire operate which limits the amount of water damage.

The benefits

The case for installing sprinkler systems is compelling; they save lives, reduce injuries, protect property and increase sustainability. One of the most often ignored benefits of fire sprinklers is the additional flexibility a system can provide to both architects and developers. There are also environmental benefits which can be used as a powerful tool in demonstrating how sprinklers can contribute to safer and stronger communities.

We are chuffed to its to see our Fire Systems Apprentice, Joel fully engrossed in his college work.

Joel attends college once every with Skills 4 Security  to complete his Fire Systems Apprenticeship. Now entering his second year he is smashing it and enjoying learning the trade whilst working back with the team to gain his off-the-jobs experience.

Happy to see Joel is wearing the Faelsafe brand whilst there too!

The Fire Systems apprenticeship helps people design, install, commission and maintain electronic systems in and outside simple and complex premises to protect individuals, homes and properties from risk and danger.

Skills include interconnection of equipment, programming, verifying performance/fault finding and testing and maintaining. Technicians will carry out planned jobs to install new systems, modify and maintain existing systems as well as respond to call-outs to repair faulty systems where they will utilise their problem solving skills. They will take a professional approach to customer service skills which include being presentable, tidy and respectful as they can often find themselves working in and outside customers’ homes as well as in and outside business premises.

It is important for Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technicians to be able to work independently or as part of a team and use their knowledge and skills to ensure systems have been appropriately selected and installed and maintained to professional industry standards, often without any supervision, and done so in a safe, efficient and economical manner to minimise waste.

By the end of this apprenticeship the candidate will have satisfied the requirements for registration as EngTech by the Engineering Council.
