It’s National Sunglasses Day! Who knew?!?!?! There literally seems to be a ‘national day’ for everything now
National Sunglasses Day is a commemorative day celebrating the importance of wearing ultraviolet (UV)-protective sun wear and eyewear and brought to life each year by The Vision Council on June 27.
The Vision Council encourages members and the industry at large to participate in National Sunglasses Day by posting on social media channels using the official hashtags, #SunglassSelfie and #NationalSunglassesDay, and tagging @TheVisionCouncil on Facebook and Instagram and @OpticalIndustry on Twitter.
Now we know these glasses won’t help to protect our eyes one small bit – but they are fun and we think our Company Director, Andrew and Office Optimist, Rachael carry them off – don’t you!
